Secretary General of the Public Hospitals Association İstanbul Çekmece Region Prof. İhsan Bakır, M.D. says that robotic heart surgery reduces patient’s stay in the intensive care unit.

Joining a health program on a private TV channel, Prof. İhsan Bakır, M.D. provided information about the operational process in robotic surgery in cardiac operations and the patient follow-up thereafter. Explaining that the patient who has been taken to the service after the operation is discharged within 3-4 days, Bakır adds that the patient can drive back to the hospital for control 10 days later.
